Their Christmas Decorations Are Usually Impressive
I think the upscale department store, like the Lafayette Galleries in Paris, is a tourist attraction in itself.
It is part of the London visitor schedule, along with the London Eye and the British Museum. But I find myself returning to the famous Knightsbridge department store every time I go to town. Want to know why?
Well, I'm not going there to see or let alone buy the new collection of Miu Miu shoes and bags, or the news from Prada, Armani, or Dolce & Gabanna. I'm not going to the Knightsbridge store either to buy the famous branded gifts. I go to Harrod's for three reasons: in January, because of the over-sale and the rest of the year, I like to go to the food wing and Egyptian World how I love that place.
